What do we mean by “Fresh from the Roaster to your Door?”
Coffee is basically a fruit, and like other fruits that when left exposed to air, moisture, and time it becomes stale. If you were to visit your local grocer and choose any one of the coffees from the shelves, by the time the coffee is roasted, packaged, and then shipped to central warehousing, it is probably somewhere between a minimum of 6 weeks to 6 months old from the roaster.
At Sarah’s Coffee we carry no inventory. We don’t roast until you place your order. Once your order is received, we go into action roasting all of our coffees in what we call custom batch roasting. If you have ever been fortunate enough to experience the aromatic elixir that is coffee being roasted right before your very nose; there is nothing like that aroma. It’s almost sweet on your tongue as you inhale a deep breath of the freshly roasted beans.
That experience is just the one that we desire to create for you every time you purchase our coffee. So in order to provide the finest and freshest coffees to our customers we insist on not only the finest bean, but also the finest process. All of our coffee is 100% Arabica and hand picked at the peak of ripeness. We carefully roast each batch under the watchful eye of our seasoned, Master-Roaster who brings over 30 years of roasting experience to each custom batch.

We then package each order in its very own re-sealable foil pouch that allows the natural degassing process to occur through its one way valve located right in the front of each bag.
It is this painstaking process of ensuring the finest and ripest bean at harvest, all the way to the most experienced Master Craftsman, or even Artisan that roast each and every custom batch.
